But, it wasn’t until last summer when James and his family decided to visit Lucca for a family holiday that the wheels were set in motion. While on holiday here in Lucca, James was looking for an Italian-speaking babysitter for his two children and approached the Lucca Italian School to see if any of the teachers might know someone who could fill the role. It was then that the idea sparked in his mind - what about hosting an opera and language school in the heart of Tuscany at what some consider the birthplace of opera?
