                                                                                     Rami, radici e connessioni  Prefazione (di Daniela Bonaccorsi )     Quando ho chiesto ad Agnese Lavorgna di scrivere un testo sull'esperienza della quarantena, sapevo che ne sarebbe venuto qualcosa di buono. Lo sapevo, perché la conoscevo ormai da un po' di tempo, ne apprezzavo la sensibilità,  e perché avevo intuito la sua passione per la scrittura. Non sapevo, però, che mi sarei trovata davanti ad uno scritto di tale profondità, e che mi ha ridato la voglia di leggere cose BELLE.  No, non lo sapevo che il suo talento era, a mio parere, straordinario.    Ho scelto questa foto per presentare il suo racconto, la trovo molto appropriata per introdurre un testo che mi ha profondamente colpito. La foto è un dono molto gradito di una nostra cara studentessa olandese, Jet. Opera Lucca Premiere Season:  A Great Success (article written by Celinda Shannon, former Lis student and friend of ours, whom we heartily thank for her precious support - photos by James Massol) The idea for an Opera School was something that had been percolating in the mind of James Massol, Director of the Opera Lucca School, for a while. But, it wasn’t until last summer when James and his family decided to visit Lucca for a family holiday that the wheels were set in motion. While on holiday here in Lucca, James was looking for an Italian-speaking babysitter for his two children and approached the Lucca Italian School to see if any of the teachers might know someone who could fill the role. It was then that the idea sparked in his mind - what about hosting an opera and language school in the heart of Tuscany at what some consider the birthplace of opera?
