Essere di Lucca vuol dire anche avere una particolare attrazione verso altre città che hanno mantenuto la propria cerchia muraria attraverso i secoli. Anch'io ho subito il fascino di questa "affiliazione" e viaggiando sono andato alla scoperta di alcune città fortificate che con la loro storia millenaria ancora così vivamente testimoniata si offrono agli occhi e alla mente del visitatore.
